This is a fanlisting for the composer and musician Yoko Kanno!

For fans of anime her name is well known; her amazing body of work include the music for Escaflowne (both the series and the movie), the different Cowboy Bebop projects, Brain Powerd, and the different Ghost in Shell projects. She also composes music for games (latest, the Ragnarok Online 2 installment), and songs for jpop artists, among those most of the songs performed by Maaya Sakamoto on her solo albums. Some of Kanno's projects, like the Escaflowne series/movie, are collaborations with her husband; composer and cellist Hajime Mizoguchi.

As a performer, she is probably most known as the leader and keyboardist of The Seatbelts. And is she or is she not the artist known as Gabriela Robin..?
